ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Circa Survive strives to create music and performances in which huge ideas and uninhibited imagination can combine with vulnerability to create something completely unique in today's music scene. This incredibly progressive band creates a sound that combines punk and alternative roots that compares to few but appeals to many. The band loves to experiment with their lyrics, combining honesty, hope and dark fascination into their songs. They have been diving deeper and pushing themselves further in their musical creativity for 13 years now. They are best known for their songs "The Difference Between Medicine and Poison Is In The Dose," "Get Out" and "Lustration." Most recently, they released their album "The Amulet," which is meant to be cathartic for listeners. It is a manifestation of the relief that comes with accepting a loss and moving forward and focuses around the connection of death to birth, unrest to revolution and emotional pain to personal growth.
