Ellis Paul is a critically acclaimed singer, songwriter, poet and familiar troubadour. He is the recipient of 15 Boston Music Awards and he travels across America and Europe, playing venues from church basements to Carnegie Hall. For more than a quarter century, Ellis Paul has swept up awards and accolades for his endearing music and poetic storytelling recognized by folk audiences across the country, as well as their families. 'The Hero In You' is Ellis Paul's 17th album, which has inspired a children's book published by the Albert Whitman & Company, a prestigious publisher of children's books. Ellis recorded 'The Hero In You' to educate the minds of children on America's important influencers. He sings about heroes such as Thomas Edison, Rosa Parks, Woody Guthrie, Rachel Carson and Jackie Robinson. Ellis has crafted the sound so that each song engages listeners of all ages. "These people did amazing things, but they can also inspire young people today to go out and do something out of the ordinary and become the heroes of their own lives," explains Paul.
