Born to a family of singers and musicians in Wildwood, FL, Blanche Johnson had very little choice of a hobby. Music was everywhere. At an early age Blanche learned to play several brass instruments, but it was her big voice that most impressed those that came in contact with her.

Blanche's background in Neo Soul, R&B, Gospel and Classical music shines through in everything she sings. She considers herself a part of a genre all her own that she likes to call SoulFunk. Blanche's music is relatable and all about good times, good vibes, and love. Along her journey to create a name for herself, Blanche J has had the honor and privilege of singing alongside or accompanying such great names as Kim Burrell, Blanche McAllister-Dykes, Jessica Reedy, Kirk Franklin, Kefia Rollerson, and Robert "Sput" Searight. She has also had the honor of opening shows for such great names as Prince saxophonist, Adrian Crutchfield, KING, Algebra Blessett, The HamilTones, Micki Miller, Brik.Liam, and Adam Ness. Blanche's vocal prowess has even been acknowledged by the likes of Georgia Ann Muldrow and Mumu Fresh.

In 2013, Blanche J released her very first EP, entitled iAmMuziq, produced by Paul Whitley, with single, "You Are the One." Having later teamed up with indie artist and producer, Micki Miller, Blanche released her second EP, voice memos a, led by single "Grey Skies," in December 2018. "Grey Skies" boasts 380k+ streams on Spotify to date. In September 2019, Blanche released her latest album, voice memos b. voice memos b, also produced by Micki Miller, continues to buzz internationally, spending three consecutive weeks at #1 on the UK's Global Soul Charts and finishing at #5 on their top 30 of 2019 list.

Tarrah "Micki" Miller is one of four siblings, born to pastors in South Bend, Indiana. At the early age of 5, she began playing drums for the church Youth Choir, mesmerizing audiences across the nation. With the support of her mother Diana's music background, she evolved creatively, mastering piano, songwriting, singing and producing. She later started playing keyboard for her Grammy-nominated brother, Pastor YPJ's popular underground gospel group, FVC. Full of jazz, hip hop, gospel and soul influences, YPJ & FVC became internationally known for their special sound, coined as "Dream Music." Miller took her inspiration and teachings from FVC and decided to pursue her own music in 2013, releasing her very first EP, Love Letters

Since 2013, Miller has continued to showcase her collaborations and covers to her streaming audience. Her storyline is intentional, flowing sonically, and receiving rave reviews. Miller's 2016 release, Summertime Chi., received honorable mentions from entertainment's finest including DJ Jazzy Jeff, James Poyser & Questlove of The Roots, Ledisi, and Taraji P. Henson. It even reached #10 on the iTunes R&B and Soul charts. In 2017, Miller released IMAGINE via social media, and toured the album with indie artist and drummer for Beyonce, Venzella Joy, for The Crew Love Tour in 2018.

In 2018, the Micki Miller Ensemble was formed at Boston's prestigious music school, the Berklee College of Music, where students studied her music, then performed a tribute concert honoring Miller & Ariana Grande's music and celebrating the school meeting fundraising goals for 2019. The Micki Miller Ensemble is under the direction of Berklee professor and 2019 Grammy nominee, Tia Fuller.
