    Merging balletic skill with striking modern and contemporary dance, REACH! is a great opportunity to see a high-quality dance production, presenting interesting, thought-provoking and important works by a variety of choreographers. If you love dance, then you will love this show! This two-performance engagement is not to be missed!

    Festival Ballet Virginia returns to the CenterStage at Reston Community Center presenting REACH! - Celebrating Diversity, Inclusion and the Adversity That Makes Us Stronger. The program will feature Rainbow Suite choreographed by legendary choreographer Donald McKayle and based upon his masterpiece Rainbow Round My Shoulder (created for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater). Rainbow is hailed as a “classic of American modern dance (The New York Times).  Rounding out the evening, Festival Ballet Virginia will present new, unique dance creations including Symphony of Psalms by Gretchen Vogelzang (FBV Director), A Mozart Andante by David Arce (San Francisco Ballet), Comme Je Suis by Stephanie Dorrycott (Director, Motion X Dance) and CMD: DSQ-dystopia by Mychal Keels (FBV Principal Guest Artist).  




     All persons including infants and children sitting on laps are to be ticketed by order of Virginia Fire Code.
