PRESS: 'Alem Worldwide Premieres Instrumental EP Featuring Pink Siifu' https://indiecurrent.com/alem-worldwide-premieres-ep-feat-pink-siifu

Bio: ALEM WORLDWIDE (+ALWW) is an experimental soul singer/producer based in Washington, D.C. She began making music at 14 years old, while studying jazz trombone and classical vocal music at Duke Ellington School of the Arts. During her high school years she performed alongside acts by the likes of John Legend, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Barry Manilow and Denyce Graves, all the while performing in "hole in the wall" DIY venues during the dark ages of DC's brewing rap scene. Upon releasing her first single in 2014, Blue//Cherry Bomb +ALWW briefly conducted a lounge tour across Western Europe. She swiftly created a SoundCloud buzz in the experimental underground, and was later booked for Noise in the Hood Festival 2016 in Los Angeles (formerly Hoodchella) on bill with GhostMane, Uno The Activist, and an up-and-coming Lil Peep. She went on to open for Flying Lotus with Buttress in 2017 prior to featuring in her single Tenth Plague as a pseudo-liturgical dancer. +ALWW has been featured in editorials from The Cut, Vogue, Teen Vogue, GQ, Noisey, and Saint Heron for her eclectic fashion sense. Her long awaited instrumental debut titled 'NOBLE ELECTRIC ALI BEY [EP]' was independently released in early February.
