The museum will present a panel of researchers, activists, and practitioners whose work sits at the intersection of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States. The program will interrogate the industrial prison system and its impact on Black and Latino populations. Our panelist include journalist and media producer Juleyka Lantigua-Williams, activist, author, and Atlantic Racial Equity Fellow Marlon Peterson, and NMAAHC curator Paul Gardullo. The panel will be moderated by Julianne Malveaux.
