Dive into a world of wonder and whimsy as our talented dancers bring to life the captivating take of Ariel and her underwater adventures. From our littlest dancers to our graduating seniors, our performers will transport your beneath the waves, don't miss this magical journey filled with oceanic charm and heartfelt storytelling!

Our cultural wealth transcends borders and fills us with pride, our roots define us and it is everyone's duty to preserve and honor them. Today we celebrate through this wonderful art form the beauty of our dances.

Enjoy an evening of music, dance and drama with the talented students of Franklin Academy Pembroke Pines. Our event will culminate in the production of High School Musical, Jr. 

Vocalist, songwriter, and performer Emeline Michel is internationally acclaimed for fusing pop, jazz, blues, and traditional Haitian rhythms to create deeply moving and joyful music, delivered with a charismatic live show. A master entertainer, Michel has been sharing her message with audiences across Europe and the Americas for more than 20 years, including appearances at New York’s Carnegie Hall, The United Nations, Ontario’s Luminato Festival, Montreal International Jazz Festival, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Tasmania’s Ten Days On The Island, Zimbabwe’s Harare International Arts Festival, and on MTV’s Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief fundraiser.

Join MCC Chef Randy as a Junior Chef! Create meals from scratch using pre-selected ingredients. Parents are welcome to join the class for the final half-hour to taste their children's cooking!

De madre inglesa y padre irlandés Katie James nació en una pequeña isla de Irlanda llamada Inishfree pero sus primeros recuerdos son de las montañas Colombianas en el departamento del Tolima en la finca donde creció y vivió hasta su adolescencia con una comunidad ecológica anglo-irlandesa fundada por su madre.

Desde niña empezó a estudiar música y se destaca como cantautora reuniendo en sus canciones diferentes sonidos de folclor colombiano y latinoamericano que han tenido una acogida creciente principalmente entre el público latino alrededor del mundo.

En su carrera artística de más de 15 años cuenta con 5 álbumes y ha recorrido escenarios de México, Italia, Holanda, Escocia, Los Estados Unidos, Perú, Chile, Ecuador y  Colombia. Ha sido nominada en dos ocasiones a los Premios Nuestra Tierra con sus canciones Toitico Bien Empacao, La Quebrada y su álbum Humano.

Fue invitada por Carlos Vives a componer e interpretar junto a él la canción ‘En La Selva’, un bambuco con sonido vallento incluida en la producción discográfica Cumbiana II. Para celebrar su nacionalidad colombiana, otorgada en Abril de 2022, Katie nos presenta su nuevo álbum Versos Para No Olvidar. Una selección de canciones que le hacen homenaje a la música de su tierra adoptiva, Colombia
