Option 1: Parking at the Zoo

If you plan to park at the Zoo, parking passes are available for $30 per personal vehicle. Please note you do not need to reserve timed-entry passes to enter the Zoo when purchasing a parking pass.

A single parking pass includes:
•  One parking pass
•  Zoo admission for up to eight people
•  Flexible arrival time: Parking pass holders can arrive any time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
•  Vehicles will be required to enter through the Connecticut Avenue entrance

Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ) members, Premier level and above, will receive one free parking pass per week. Member ID will be verified during checkout.

Notice: Please be aware that areas of the Zoo, including select animal exhibits, are closed including Asia Trail (sloth bear, fishing cat, clouded leopard, red panda and giant panda). For a list of openings and closings please visit the National Zoo website (https://nationalzoo.si.edu).

Option 2: Walking into the Zoo

If you plan to bus, Metro, walk, bike, etc. to the Zoo, timed-entry passes are available for free.

Timed-entry passes:
•  Visitors will have the option to reserve timed-entry passes for up to six people
•  Required for all ages
•  Does not include parking
•  Pedestrians may enter through the Connecticut Avenue or Harvard Street gates
