Our vintage train cars are from the golden era of rail travel, built in the '30s, '40s and '50s, and fully restored for your enjoyment. On board the train, your 44 mile journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15 minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long wooden trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world! 

    All cars are pulled by a diesel locomotive. This 44 mile ride is 3.5 hours round trip with a 15-minute layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 9:00 AM, Returns 12:30 PM. Due to the unique nature of our non-profit railroad operations, there are no refunds.

While your fearless champion fights crime, full-sized sidekicks will enjoy our handsomely restored vintage train cars from the golden era of rail travel, built in the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s! On board the train, your journey spans the South San Gabriel River and stops for a 15-minute layover at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. A great spot to assemble your squadron for photos with the train! All ages can ride in all cars on this special ride. There are no adults-only seating areas.

Enjoy views of Short Creek Canyon, the 300-foot-long trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel, and the Duffy-Shamrock communications mast-one of the tallest structures in the world! Costumes and teddy bears are encouraged on this special ride! Complimentary lemonade will be available in the Cedar Park concession car.

    After visiting the Center for the first time, children are given a brand new teddy bear or stuffed animal to help provide comfort and a sense of safety during a difficult time – it also represents a new beginning.     Enjoy the Wine Train as we take the train to Wedding Oak Winery in Burnet, Texas! Passengers will enjoy a 2-hour train ride from Cedar Park spanning the South San Gabriel River while enjoying an intimate talk and wine tasting with members of the Wedding Oak family. In Burnet, food and wine are available for purchase during our 2-hour layover at the stunning tasting room at Wedding Oak Winery. Complete with two-story views, a patio, and a rooftop terrace, Wedding Oak has made its home in the historic 1888 Badger Building, in the heart of Burnet's town square. Finally, please relax and enjoy the ride as the train returns to our Cedar Park Depot in the afternoon.


    We want to make sure you get home safely! As such, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase on the return trip. Alcohol will not be served and may not be consumed on our return trip.


    Ages 21 and up only. SCHEDULE: Departs 11 am, Returns 5 pm. Your ticket includes a 2-hour train ride and a tasting-sized flight of 5 wines. Full-sized servings, bottles to-go, and food are available for purchase in the Wedding Oak tasting room during the layover in Burnet only. Our signature ride, the Hill Country Flyer allows you time to explore our vintage train cars, historically restored for your enjoyment! On board the train, you will wind through the Texas Hill Country, crossing the trestle bridge over the South San Gabriel River and Short Creek Canyon. During your two hour layover in Burnet you can enjoy lunch on your own, shopping, and a leisurely stroll around the historic town square. Finally, relax and enjoy time with your friends and family...as the train returns to our Cedar Park Depot in the afternoon.

    All cars are pulled by a diesel locomotive. This 66-mile ride is 6.5 hours round trip with a 2 hour layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 9:00 AM, Returns 3:30 PM.
