Come enjoy Jazz at the Flash! Save $15 across three incredible performances: The Hoppin' John Orchestra on February 15th, The Matt Cappy Band on March 6th, and Monika' Herzig's SHEroes on March 13th!

Established in 1996 as the Black Eyed Peas Brass Band, the current Hoppin’ John Orchestra has seen their name, music and musicians evolve and change in many ways over the years. The band's style has evolved over the years, including not only brass band music but also classic R&B from the 1940s and 50s, and even some "chamber jazz" transcriptions from the late 1930s and early 40s. The Hoppin' John Orchestra singers also help to ensure great variety and, along with their notable local instrumentalists, never fail to excite and wow an audience.

Matt Cappy, a Berlin, NJ native, or East Philly as he puts it, has been touring, recording, and performing with the biggest names in music from Neo-Soul, Hio Hop, RnB, Gospel, Latin, Rock and PoP since graduating from The University of The Arts in Philadelphia. By the Summer of 2010, Cappy was headlining festivals like Glastonbury, Isle of Wight, Bonaroo and Coachella with Jay-Z and guest appearing with The Dave Matthews Band.

SHEroes, convened by pianist-composer Monika Herzig for a second recording by distinguished improvising virtuosos who are all, not just incidentally, women. Monika’s deft, always supportive pianism and her warm, joyous, practical sensibility marks every tune with SHEroes.

Each package contains three General Admission tickets, one for each of the three performances.
