DESCRIPTION
Join us for a series of Streetcar "STEAM" (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) sessions during the summer for children and teens, ages 7-13. Five different sessions will be offered on select Fridays and Saturdays. Each session uses hands-on activities to learn how STEAM applies to public transportation and streetcars.
June 26/27: Streetcar Science Day
Jul 11/12: Trolley Tech Day
Jul 25/26: Electrical Engineering Day
Aug 8/9: Advertising Art Day
Aug 22/30: Mechanical Math Day
Seating is limited to 15 students in each session and includes the class and a trolley ride. Parents and accompanying visitors must purchase an admission ticket at the time of check-in at the Museum. You will join your child on the trolley ride after the class session ends.
Each class session lasts about one hour.
