DESCRIPTION

ALL ABOARD THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in Spencer, North Carolina. This train time has primarily Standard Coach seating, with some Deluxe Coach and First Class seating.  This train does not offer Parlor Class seating, which is available only on Train A at other times.  For Standard and Deluxe Class, you may purchase individual seats.  For First Class, you must purchase all seats at the table. Everyone ages 2 and up requires a seat.  One infant is allowed to ride on a lap per paying adult. Seats cannot be added to First Class table seating.  Please check other times during the evening for more Standard, Deluxe and First Class tickets.  Arrive at least 45 minutes before departure time for parking, check-in, and other activities. THE POLAR EXPRESS™ will board at the Barber Junction Visitor Center where the experience starts with the train’s arrival, followed by a magical ride to the North Pole, where the train will stop to see Santa Claus deliver the first gift of Christmas!  After returning from the North Pole, the ride ends at Candy Cane Lane, where you will exit the train for more activities, fun, and photos with Santa. The experience lasts approximately 70 minutes, plus additional time at your leisure to enjoy the activities before and after.  All tickets will be Print at Home or you may show your mobile tickets on your device when you arrive.

Don’t forget to add some THE POLAR EXPRESS ™ accessories to make your experience even more magical.  You will have the option to add these items to your order and pick them up upon arrival.

ADA/wheelchair accessibility:  Please note that only the “DASHER” car (Deluxe Coach) on this train is equipped for ADA and wheelchair accessibility.  Two wheelchair spaces on the “DASHER” car are available for passengers to ride in their wheelchairs.  The seats labeled “WC1 and WC2” on the seat map are spaces for wheelchair passengers to ride in their wheelchairs in those spaces. There are NOT actual seats there. The four seats to the left of WC1 and in front of WC2 are intended as companion seating for parties who are riding with a wheelchair passenger.  No other cars on this train are ADA or wheelchair accessible due to the vintage nature of their construction.  To board any car other than the “DASHER” car, passengers must be able to climb stairs and walk to their seats.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  There are no refunds or exchanges.  All ticket sales are final.  Should you find yourself unable to use some or all of your tickets, you are welcome to allow another party to use them in your absence.

Please arrive 45 minutes prior to departure. Tickets valid only for the Spencer, NC event, located approximately halfway between Charlotte and Greensboro, NC, off Interstate 85 exit 79.  Refunds will not be issued due to arrival at an incorrect location.
