Tribute to Dr. King will be conducted by Mark Irchai and feature music and words specifically chosen for this occasion, as the RCO honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The program features soprano Alia Waheed and students from Al Fatih Academy.

The March concert, Get London on the Horn, will be conducted by John Murton and will showcase works from the 16th to the 20th centuries that all share a link to London. Eric Moore, Principal Horn of Fairfax Symphony Orchestra, will join the orchestra for a new American horn concerto.

PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
Connections, the RCO season finale concert, will be conducted by Dietrich Paredes Baralt and will connect pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn, while keeping the tradition of featuring talented youth among us. This year the concert will feature Joey Hsieh, a National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship Cellist.
