From Lincoln Center Theater that brought you The King & I and South Pacific, comes “a sumptuous new production of the most perfect musical of all time” (Entertainment Weekly), Lerner & Loewe’s MY FAIR LADY. Director Bartlett Sher’s glowing production is “thrilling, glorious and better than it ever was” (New York Times). “Every so often a revival comes along that reminds you how indispensable great theater can be” (NY1).

Boasting such classic songs as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live,” MY FAIR LADY tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins, a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

Shows and dates are subject to change. Some fees may not be refundable. Ticket policies are at the discretion of the Altria Theater and Broadway In Richmond, and may be changed at any time.

Broadway in Richmond is keeping up to date with local and state health guidelines and taking steps to make your return to live events as safe as possible. Our current Health and safety protocols based on guidance from public officials and theatrical unions require the proper use of a face covering inside the theater, and require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of a negative COVID-19 test, administered by a medical professional no more than 72 hours prior to the show, upon entry. Children under 2 years old are restricted from attending due to CDC guidance regarding masking of that age group. Any patron who does not comply with the venue’s health protocols may be required to leave the venue. Please note that this event is being planned at 100% capacity and is subject to show requirements and applicable law. Located in the heart of VCU's campus, the Altria Theater, formerly The Mosque, is one of the best known and most striking buildings in Richmond. Built in 1926, The Altria Theater plays host to a variety of events including Broadway, The Richmond Forum, concerts, comedians, children’s theater, lectures, school commencements and fashion shows. Some of America's greatest entertainers have appeared on stage beneath its towering minarets and desert murals. With seating capacity at 3,600 and a stage to accommodate the largest productions, this theater is a great complement to our sister venue downtown, Dominion Energy Center.
