PERFORMANCE DESCRIPTION
HALF DAY LIVE ACTION FILMMAKING CAMP makes the campers the stars as they write, produce and act in their own short films. It is a one-week program of half-day sessions, and will be offered Monday-Friday the week of June 14-18. The morning session from 9 a.m. to noon is for students entering grades 3-6 and each session is $195 per camper, which includes a camp T-shirt, daily snacks and a digital copy of the finished films. Participation is capped at 18 campers per session.

Summer Film Camp is presented in collaboration with the Florida Center for Instructional Technology at the USF College of Education.


Film camp registrations cancelled more than two weeks before the start of the program week will be refunded 100%, minus a $20 admin fee. Camp registrations cancelled within 2 weeks of the start of the program week will not be refunded. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE REQUESTS FOR SESSION CHANGES WILL BE HONORED. A $20 admin fee will be assessed for any session changes.


*COVID-prevention protocols for campers, counselors and staff will include daily temperature checks, frequent hand-washing/hand sanitizer, and social distancing. Masks will be required at all times while not on-camera, and campers will receive instruction on how to structure shots and employ camera angles to minimize contact and maximize distance between actors while on-camera.
