DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC.
Tickets are required for the Museum’s Permanent Exhibition: The Holocaust. Tickets are not required for entry into the Museum building or other exhibitions.
- Reservations for the Permanent Exhibition for school groups of 55 or more are available now through August 2025
- Only School Groups affiliated with an educational institution may book through our school group reservation system. Tickets are free and the $1 transaction fee per ticket usually charged by Etix is waived.
Other groups that are not affiliated with a school, or groups smaller than 55 people, may reserve tickets through our general ticketing system.
- You will receive an email confirmation and a digital ticket at the conclusion of the online reservation process. The digital ticket will serve as your timed-entry reservation. Please bring this with you to the Museum on the day of your visit.
Before you arrive, here is some helpful information for your visit to the Museum:
- Please enter through the group entrance located at 100 Raoul Wallenberg Place SW, Washington, DC.
- Please allow at least 15 minutes to go through our Security screening process
- Items that are not allowed in the Museum include: Guns, all knives (including pocket/pen knives of any length), mace, pepper spray and other weapons. Please see our website for a full list of prohibited items.
- Food and drink are prohibited, except as medically necessary; you may drink water from capped containers.
- You may enter the exhibition during the 15-minute range on your ticket and may remain in the exhibition as long as you like thereafter until the Museum closes.
- Face masks are currently optional; social distancing and frequent hand sanitizing are recommended. Prior to your visit please conduct a self-check health screening.
