The Pocono Center for the Arts announces its first annual CAVALCADE OF STARS. The event is being created exclusively for our audiences by our Producing Artistic Director Stephen DeAngelis and will feature ten performers from the worlds of Broadway, Television, Comedy, Dance, Magic, Pop Music, Country Music, Circus, Opera, Puppetry and more!!!! This live event will serve as an homage to the kind of television variety shows that showcased world-class talent and now can be enjoyed by the whole family. Scheduled performers include (in alphabetical order) Leslie Carrara-Rudolph (5X Daytime Emmy Award nominee for her portrayal of Abby Cadabby on “Sesame Street” who has also worked with The Muppets), Erin Hill (singer and harpist who has sung with and opened for Cyndi Lauper, Kanye West, Josh Groban, Jewel, Peabo Bryson and The Beach Boys. She had the #1 album on the Billboard World Chart and has played solo at The Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall), Kenny Raskin (Lead Clown ["Everyman"] in Cirque du Soleil’s Nouvelle Experience. He also created the role of Lefou in the original Broadway production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast), Carolina Rial (Popular Season 20 contestant on NBC’s hit television series “The Voice” where she was selected as a member of John Legend’s team. She has an extensive social media following with millions of fans worldwide), Heather Rice (Singer/Songwriter best known for her touring show which pays tribute to the legendary Joni Mitchell that she performs in theatres, clubs and with Symphony Orchestras across the country. She has opened for Joan Osborne, Sheryl Crow, and Lady Antebellum), Reggie Rice (3X Comedy Magician of the Year. He has performed for hundreds of thousands of audience members throughout the globe and has worked alongside Kevin Hart, Shaquille O’Neal and Ryan Seacrest), Evan Ruggiero (Drama Desk Award nominee. Triple threat who has been seen performing at Carnegie Hall and at the 90th Academy Awards as well as alongside two-time Grammy winning artist, Jason Mraz), Antoine Scott (Stand-up comic who has performed alongside Tracy Morgan, D.L Hughley, Monique, Kevin Hart, Earthquake, Tony Rock, Bill Bellamy and Maze) and Jenny Lee Stern (Broadway performer/Impressionist who starred in Forbidden Broadway: Alive and Kicking and Forbidden Broadway: The Next Generation to critical acclaim. She is best known for her singing impersonations of Patsy Cline and Judy Garland), Asher Denburg returns to serve as Musical Director/Accompanist.
