In WHAT TRUTH SOUNDS LIKE, Michael Eric Dyson interrogates America's contemporary racial climate through his description of a historic 1963 meeting among James Baldwin, Lena Horne, Loraine Hansberry, activist Jerome Smith, and how it motivated then U.S. Atty. General Robert F. Kennedy to change his view of the government's policy towards racism. Books will be available for sale and signing by Smithsonian Enterprises. Dr. Dyson will autograph books sold at the event only. He will not sign printed programs or memorabilia.
