Tercer Cielo is a Latin/Pop music duo with inspirational and Christian lyrics, comprised of Juan Carlos Rodríguez (Dominican Republic) and Evelyn Herrera Mexican/American singer.
Along their trajectory, Tercer Cielo has recorded 10 original albums. Their albums have brought multiple hit singles such as: “Héroe” (Hero), “Cada Día” (Every Day), “Mí Último Día” (My Last Day), “Tu Amor No es de Este Mundo” (Your Love Is Not From This World), “Demente” (Demented) and “Yo Te Extrañaré” (I Will Miss You), among others.
Their lyrics focus on positive and spiritual themes with messages of faith, love and hope targeted to a young audience who is seeking to touch the world with the love of God.
Tercer Cielo alongside Ricardo Montaner and Milly Quezada performed their hit, “Creeré” live during the telecast of the (2010) Billboard Latin Music Awards. Also, Mexican singer Lupillo Rivera sang the popular hit “Yo Te Extrañaré,” written by Juan Carlos, during the memorial service of his sister, popular Latin artist, Jenni Rivera to a worldwide audience.
The duo of Dominican and Mexican roots has also been recognized with multiple nominations to the Latin Grammy, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and Premios Lo Nuestro, and has won Premios Arpa, BMI Latin Music Awards, Premios Casandra, and Premios Unción, among others.
