The University of Kentucky Wind Symphony, UK Chorale, and the Lexington Singers present Voices and Winds: Masterworks from the 20th and 21st Centuries in the SCFA Concert Hall.
Join us for Igor Stravinsky's 1930 choral masterwork Symphony of Psalms. The University of Kentucky's outstanding Wind Symphony will feature the Lexington Singers and the UK Chorale for this unique American composition, written to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
Internationally acclaimed guest conductor Tim Reynish will also lead the ensembles in a performance of Christopher Theofanidis' stunning new work, The Here and Now.
