IMPORTANT THIS CLASS TAKES PLACE AT 541 A PAGE STREET, NOT AT WORKSHOPSF Dump out the French’s and say au revoir to your Grey Poupon! Who needs ‘em when you can make your own mustard from scratch? In this class, Kelly McVicker of McVicker Pickles will guide you through the mustard-making process step-by-step using some amazing and unique flavor combinations such as honey-stout, basil-garlic, or chipotle-ginger that will transform your hot dogs, sandwiches and sausages from simple Pac Bell park staples to bonafide, pinky-out delicacies!
You will off by sampling an assortment of mustards including homemade and store-bought varieties to compare taste profiles and textures. Kelly will discuss flavor pairings that you can experiment with to make your own special blend. Each student will then get to mix their own mustard using fresh herbs and spices, vinegar, beer and wine. Your creation will need to steep for a couple days before being blended, but don’t worry - we’ll send you away with clear instructions for that simple last step.
Cancellation Policy: Workshop offers a 72-hour cancellation policy and will refund 100% of your class fee or rebook you to another class if done within that timeframe. You must cancel/ move your spot/ switch to another class at least 72 hours prior to class time- no exceptions. We lock in with our teachers at that point, purchase all supplies and contractually still have to pay teachers for your spot whether you attend or not past that point. Please understand that buying a ticket to a Workshop class is the same as buying a concert ticket, theatre ticket, or movie ticket, and we must treat refund requests after the 72-hour mark in the same manner. You can also feel free to gift your class to a friend any time! Email us at info@workshopsf.org to cancel, rebook or for questions.
