Ready to take your embroidery to a whole. Other. Level. We thought so! That's why we are offering this 2 week course combining the always sold out embroidery 101 and embroidery 102 into this 6 hour, 2-week course! First class, learn classic and experimental hand stitching techniques to create a sampler (aka visual dictionary) of embroidery stitches. We will learn how to successfully create several different embroidery stitches that will create unique surfaces, lines, and texture. In your second class, we will expand on basic stitches to create intricately woven, embellished, and textured drawings with thread to create portraits. Learn creative stitches like whipped spider webs, turkey work, appliqué, and tiny woven stitches. Bring a picture or inspiration for your portrait. We will help you create that magical Hey Girl Ryan Gossling portrait, Baywatch babe, your cat, your boo or even a wrestler. All materials are provided and everyone will take home their project, some extra thread and needles, an embroidery hoop, and a stitch instruction packet for later reference. C&rsqup;mon guys! Wham bam boom! Two weeks and you are an embroidery expert!
