**CANCELLED ** Comedian Brad Zimmerman "My Rise to the Middle"

MY RISE TO THE MIDDLE
Written and performed by Brad Zimmerman
"a unique and original voice in the world of comedy"
Born and bred in Oradell NJ, Brad moved to NYC and "temporarily" waited tables for 29 years, while pursuing his dream of comedic acting. He now works all over the country in theatres, comedy clubs, casinos, JCCs...you name it, he's done it! He became Joan River's opening act of choice for over seven years, leading Joan to say, "I've had three great opening acts in my lifetime: Billy Crystal, Garry Shandling, and Brad Zimmerman." He's also worked with Brad Garrett, Dennis Miller, Julio Iglesias, and had the great honor of opening for George Carlin for two years until George passed in 2008.
My Rise To The Middle explores a man's lifetime struggle to make it as an actor in NYC. Following his hit Off-Broadway show My Son The Waiter, A Jewish Tragedy, Brad's comedic stories of his childhood, loooooong tenure as a waiter, and a misbegotten love life shed light on his career breakthrough in his late 50's.
And in a true gift of support, this performance is a BENEFIT for CRT, with Brad donating his time and talents to support the performing arts in Central New York! Don't miss this hysterically funny, poignant and easily identifiable story that will inspire as much as it will entertain!
