In this class, we'll teach you how to make tiny desktop gardens from succulents, plants and moss in glass jars (feel free to bring your own too). It’s like your own miniature oasis that can travel with you, and it's easier to care for than your pet rock. Well, almost.
We supply the vessel, dirt, succulents, moss of various varieties and even little woodland creature toppers to inhabit your terrarium. You will learn to make succulent and moss terrariums and any combination in-between! So you can make gorgeous living ones that are easy to keep alive or ones that can NEVER DIE. So whether you are a green thumb or a black thumb, we got you! We'll discuss succulents, air plants and living and preserved mosses (we will have both). For this class you'll walk out with one awesome terrarium or you can make two small guys. You will also leave with a care guide and are welcome to purchase additional mosses to take home.
supplies needed: None. If you would like to bring your own glass jar or vase, feel free! Also, if you would like to make more than one terrarium, bring cash to pay for extra jars and plants. You can bring your owrn succulents if you have any favorites, as well as you are welcome to bring your own air plants, which we talk about in class but do not include since they are a bit pricey.
ALL WORKSHOP CLASSES ARE FOR AGES 18 & OVER, WE OCCASIONALLY MAKE AN EXCEPTION IF A CLASS HAS APPROPRIATE Cancellation Policy: Workshop offers a 72-hour cancellation policy and will refund 100% of your class fee or rebook you to another class if done within that timeframe. You must cancel/ move your spot/ switch to another class at least 72 hours prior to class time- no exceptions. We lock in with our teachers at that point, purchase all supplies and contractually still have to pay teachers for your spot whether you attend or not past that point. In case of a later cancellation past the 72 hr mark, we will attempt to get your spot filled and rebook you into another class (no refunds) or give you credit if someone takes your spot if we can get it covered! We understand emergencies happen and we do everything we can to fill your spot via social media and a waitlist if it exists. You can also feel free to gift your class to a friend any time! Email us at info@workshopsf.org to cancel, rebook or for questions.
