WorkshopSF & Anchor Brewing Company present Workshop Wednesdays: fun DIY nights to drink beer and make stuff at the Anchor Public Taps.
On August 15th, we welcome Kelly McVicker of McVicker pickles for this awesome mini-workshop. Learn to make your own beer mustard in this 45-minute workshop. Of course we will be using fresh Anchor Beers, right off the tap for these mustards! AMAZEBALLS!
Anchor Brewing will have beers and food trucks on site and priced a la carte (not included with class).
Date: Wednesday, 8/15, 6-7pm
Craft: DIY Beer Mustard with McVickers Pickles
Location: Anchor Public Taps, 495 De Haro Street, SF, CA 94107
Cost: $25
Instructor Bio: Kelly launched McVicker Pickles in 2012 to bring her love for pickling and food preservation to the masses. Born and raised in Kansas, she learned all about pickling and canning from her grandmas Margarett and Harriet. Kelly brought those traditions with her to San Francisco where she soon found herself haggling over boxes of cucumbers at the farmers market, and loving it. Kelly is a certified Master Food Preserver in San Francisco County. Check out McVicker Pickles on Facebook for the latest news on pop-ups and events.
About Anchor Public Taps: Public Taps is Anchor's pilot brewery and bar located in Potrero Hill just across the street from Anchor's iconic brewery. Enjoy 19 Anchor beers on tap, from classics you know and love to limited-release beers exclusively served at Public Taps.
