Suzanne Westenhoefer gained fame as the first-ever out-lesbian stand-up comic in the early ‘90s. Twenty years later, she’s a mainstream comedy club staple with HBO and LOGO comedy specials, several comedy DVDs, and a web comedy series in her resume. Her material still draws hilariously on the LGBT experience but the laughter she incites today is universal, mining everything from relationships to her Lancaster County Anabaptist heritage.
Ephrata Performing Arts Center is proud to welcome this zany talent back for her fifth comedy concert in the Sharadin Bigler Theatre at 8pm, Saturday, August 15. Tickets are $35, including a wine and cheese reception in the lobby, with the star after the show.
