(REGISTRATION CLOSED) Lunch & Lecture: Ceramic Vitality - Contemporary Women in the New African Gallery
June 2, 2017
11:00 AM
Dr. Elizabeth Perrill, Consulting Curator for African Art at the NCMA, will be focusing on African ceramics during our cycle of lunch and lectures. Dr. Perrill’s research specialization in Zulu pottery has dovetailed perfectly with the curatorial goal of bringing women's creative histories into the new reinstallation of African art at the NCMA and our state's extraordinary wealth of ceramic expertise. Come learn how both ancient and contemporary ceramic traditions are highlighted in five unique spaces in the new installation.
