We're taking the art of pickling up a notch in this new pickling class with our pickling maven, Kelly McVicker. We all sadly know about those drunken moments of whisky d*ck. Well, not here my friend. Try whiskey picks! Pickles, that is. In this class, we will pickle entirely with beer and bourbon brines, not only creating amazing flavors but also fun to sample as you go. Each class will differ based on what's in season, but expect to make some amazing pickles with beer or bourbon brine, delicious bourbon-brined jalapenos (our favorite at workshop - we are ADDICTED) and we'll talk about & try different whiskeys with pickle backs. Of course, to taste test what youre steeping your pickles in, right? RIGHT. Expect a super fun class that teaches you a ton about making boozy pickles and makes for a perfect night out with friends.
You'll leave with two jars of goodies and plenty of sampling of whiskey, brines, pickle backs, beers and pickles in class. We"ll also toss in a special part of class where John, our resident Teachers Assistant and fried pickle dude, will fry up our own Workshop fried pickles and show you how on a simple $40 fryer from Target and give ya the secret recipe. We'll be sure to toss a few bourbon jalepenos and other goodies into the fryer too. Everyone will get an order with class. YUM!
