Celebrating folk music from near and far, the Brooklyn Folk Festival showcases 40+ performances, workshops, film screenings, dances, and contests. Jerron " Blind Boy" Paxton, Last Poets, Willie Watson, Jim Kweskin, Anna & Elizabeth, Peter Stampfel, Thunderbird American Indian Dancers, and Rev. Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir are among the performers at this year's Festival, held from April 28th-30th.
The Festival, a co-production of The Jalopy Theatre and 2nd Mind Music, will be at St. Ann and the Holy Trinity Church in downtown Brooklyn. Tickets are available in multiple forms: A 3-day Pass will allow you to enjoy all the Festival has to offer, tickets can also be purchased for single days, or parts of days. Workshops, film screenings and contests included with price of admission.
Food, drinks and beer and wine will be available for sale at the venue, as well as a number of vendors selling a wide range of merchandise.
