“Three words best describe The Fox on the Fairway […] Hilarious, hilarious, and hilarious. The audience was howling with joy.” - The Examiner

“Ken Ludwig has a wicked sense of comedic anarchy, giving his characters such zany idiosyncrasies that they soar to dizzying heights!” - The Washington Examiner

“There’s something magical about the sound of explosive laughter in a theater. That is the kind of magic offered with Ken Ludwig’s The Fox on the Fairway.” - Alexandria Gazette Packet

A tribute from Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, The Fox On the Fairway takes audiences on a hilarious romp, which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Filled with mistaken identities, slamming doors, and over-the-top romantic shenanigans, it’s a furiously paced comedy that recalls the Marx Brothers’ classics. A charmingly madcap adventure about love, life, and man’s eternal love affair with...golf. Ken Ludwig’s The Fox on the Fairway premiered on October 19, 2010 at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA, directed by John Rando. It was subsequently produced by The George Street Playhouse, directed by David Saint.
